Feridiola Berberi was born in Berat, Albania, in 1989. At the age of 6, she emigrated to Italy, settling in Florence away from her parents, where she would spend the next 25 years of her life.
Her artistic talent emerged with her move to Italy, where, despite being only six years old, she found a new form of play in painting, driven by the changes in her life.
At the age of 13, her talent caught the attention of her school teachers, who encouraged her family to enroll her in a high school specializing in the arts. Inspired by the beauty of the “museum” that is the Istituto d’Arte di Porta Romana in Florence, Diola pursued a five-year cycle of studies with great determination and passion, gaining an in-depth understanding of various techniques applied to two-dimensional art forms.
Her works immediately stood out, and she was selected during 2006-2007 for various public projects in the province of Florence, which continue to be displayed there today. These include:
- A 300x180cm installation, painted on plexiglass with backlighting, for the Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence.
- A 100x70cm painting for the cardiology department at Ponte a Niccheri hospital in Florence.
She later began studying at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence, specializing in “Industrial Design,” with the goal of creating customizable furnishings and setting new trends through her art.
Driven by her passion and desire to establish her artistic identity, she developed her own technique involving “relief” with multiple materials, leaning toward abstraction while continually drawing inspiration from nature.
The paintings are abstract and created to complement interior design.

In her paintings, you can notice the presence of a dark pigment as the background base, with depth achieved through a slightly reinterpreted technique of aerial perspective, where the colors gradually lighten with shading until reaching an intense white. The light in her paintings sometimes appears as a sunbeam, and other times as a white light, representing her clear vision of life.
This effect is achieved through a bold use of chromatic contrast, intentionally employed so that the white light reaches the viewer as a symbol of positivity, hope, and spiritual relief.
After completing her university studies, she decided to pursue a freelance career worldwide, including in Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, and Albania. Her paintings are currently commissioned by clients from Italy, England, Switzerland, France, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and other countries. However, the most unique aspect of her work remains the decorative walls she creates.
In 2019, she participated in “Indecor” at the “Salone del Mobile Moscow” in Russia. Following the pandemic, she decided to return to Albania and embark on new collaborations with local architectural studios, as well as projects for five-star hotels both domestically and in Saudi Arabia.
In December 2023, she is invited as a contemporary artist to the prestigious event “Prix the Best” in Paris at the hotel “FOUR SEASON HOTEL GEORGE V”, the presented painting is “Bloom” with dimensions 110×110 which is evaluated by the judge Olivier Valmier with the price of 20,000 euros, which was donated to “save the children”
